JewSTU

Kids today need a spiritual tool-box to approach life’s challenges and daily decisions. JewSTU uses art as the primary tool to cultivate awareness, express it, and connect to oneself, others and beyond. In this six-week workshop, kids will use a variety of media to create artwork based on social-emotional themes rooted in Jewish wisdom. They will design and lead a final session for an underprivileged community group of their choice as an act of tikkun olam (repairing the world). Key skills they will develop: leadership, listening, collaboration, empowerment to social justice.

Tuesdays from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. Oct. 15, 22, 29, Nov. 19, 26, Dec. 3 - Pizza dinner provided. Grades 7 -10 To register: judyw@jcch.org - OPEN TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS! Bring a friend! Free to JCCH Hebrew High School. Others: $72
